SPRING CLEANUP DAY!
It's time to DROP IT OFF, Calcasieu! Mark your calendars for Spring Cleanup Day from 8 a.m. - noon Saturday, April 12.
Clear out your garage, yard, or closet — and drop off your tires, metal, paper, and plastic for free at a Residential Solid Waste Convenience Center in Lake Charles or Sulphur. The event is for Calcasieu Parish residents (show your ID).
You can drop off up to five tires — or up to 19 tires with four individual IDs. Accepted tires include passenger truck, car, bike, ATV and trailering tires. Tires cannot have rims.This event is for individual drop-offs — not businesses. Here's where to find the Residential Solid Waste Convenience Centers:
• Sulphur: 2915 Post Oak Road
• Lake Charles: 5500B Swift Plant Road
