We fight litter with proactive events and educational experiences so that people of every age can help bring about a cleaner Calcasieu Parish.
Beyond our community cleanups are family friendly events that are free, engaging, and an integral part of the Pick It Up movement.
For example, we offer events that promote—in fun, free ways—the positive reasons to fight litter. At parks and other locations all over Calcasieu Parish, we reach out with games, such as the Litter Getter magnetic fishing rodeo, Litter Drop, TrashFormer’s Park Adventure, and Collect 4. A Pick It Up Calcasieu and Team Green Event
Ready to make waves for a cleaner Calcasieu? Join Pick It Up Calcasieu with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and Team Green with the City of Lake Charles for a community-wide cleanup in support of Keep Louisiana Beautiful's Love Our Waterways event!
